POSTCARD SINGLES FROM POLAND







Various 33 rpm postcard singles are still available in Poland. The size is 10.5 x 14.5 cm. At least four of Leonard Cohen’s original songs have been released on these postcards:

OFF-241. Tonight will be fine
OFF-242. Lover lover lover
OFF-252. Suzanne
OFF-258. Bird on the wire



The cards are illustrated with non-Cohen themes: Suzanne is presented with a Christmas tree candle and dolls, and all the others have identical flowers on the front. The postcards are delivered in handmade paper sleeves with b/w photocopies of Leonard Cohen photos and a "Only for fans" stamp complemented with the hand-written title of the song.

These portcards may not be authorized but are certainly interesting items in any Leonard Cohen collection. He has always been especially popular in Poland.
